Responsible for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits technical information to GitHub's servers, which GitHub records in log files. This typically includes:

• your IP address
• the date and time of the request
• the page or file requested
• the browser type, version and operating system
• the referring page, if any

This processing happens before any content of this site is executed and cannot be switched off by the operator. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: there is a legitimate interest in delivering the website reliably and securely and in defending against attacks. IP addresses are considered personal data under the GDPR.

GitHub, Inc. is based in the United States, so serving this website involves a transfer of data to a third country. According to its own privacy statement, GitHub self-certifies under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Implementing Decision 2021/914) for transfers out of the EEA.

3. Data stored in your browser

The app saves your current tournament so that it survives closing the tab or locking your phone. It uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) for this. Stored are exactly the entries you make yourself:

• the player or team names you enter
• the chosen format, number of courts, number of rounds and scoring mode
• the generated schedule and the scores you record

This information is written to your device only. It is not transmitted to the operator, to GitHub or to anyone else, and it is not readable by other websites. There is no server-side database behind this app.

Under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG this storage does not require consent, because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly requested — a tournament tracker that remembers your tournament. No cookies are set and no consent banner is therefore displayed.

You can delete the stored data at any time: use Reset → New tournament in the app, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Using private or incognito mode discards it automatically when you close the window.

4. What this site does not do

• no cookies
• no analytics, statistics or tracking of any kind
• no advertising and no advertising networks
• no user accounts, no registration, no login
• no contact form and no newsletter
• no social media plugins or share buttons
• no external fonts, scripts, images or content delivery networks — the app is a single self-contained file and makes no network requests once it has loaded

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request information about the personal data concerning you (Art. 15), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), to have data erased (Art. 17), to have processing restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, contact the address in section 1.

In practice, the operator holds no data about you: the log files described in section 2 are generated and held by GitHub, and the data in section 3 never leaves your device. Requests concerning the server logs are therefore best directed to GitHub.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence or place of work. Contact details for every European supervisory authority, including the German ones, are listed by the European Data Protection Board.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the site changes in a way that affects data processing. The date at the top always shows the current version.
